01Acceptance of these terms
By visiting verain.ca, requesting a quote, or engaging us to place insurance on your behalf, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and any specific letter of engagement we sign with you.
02Who we are
Verain Insurance Inc. is an independent insurance brokerage licensed in Ontario, Canada. The business is operated by Verain Vasudeva from 1830 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4X 1L8.
We are regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and act as your representative when sourcing and placing insurance with Canadian carriers.
03Use of this site
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes related to evaluating, requesting, or managing insurance through Verain. You agree not to:
- Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information on any form
- Attempt to access non-public areas of the site or its infrastructure
- Scrape, copy, or republish content without written permission
- Use the site in any way that violates Canadian law
04Quotes & estimates
Quotes shown on this site or provided in correspondence are illustrative estimates. They are based on the information you supply and the rate sheets carriers publish at the time of inquiry.
Final premiums, terms, and eligibility are determined exclusively by the issuing carrier through their underwriting process. A quote is not an offer of insurance and does not bind any carrier or Verain.
05Broker relationship
When you engage us, Verain acts as your broker — representing your interests in placing coverage with one of our contracted carriers. We do not represent any single insurer exclusively.
You are responsible for:
- Providing complete and accurate information on applications
- Reading the policy you receive and notifying us of any errors within 10 days
- Paying premiums on time, directly to the carrier
- Notifying us of material changes (address, health, beneficiaries) that could affect your coverage
06Compensation disclosure
Verain is paid by the insurance carriers we place coverage with, in the form of standard commissions and, in some cases, modest production-based bonuses. You pay no fee directly to us for advice or for placing a policy.
On request, we will disclose the specific commission rate or bonus structure associated with any product we recommend, in writing, before you sign an application.
07Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, layout, photography, logos, illustrations, and code — is the property of Verain Insurance Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law.
You may save or print pages for personal reference. Any other reproduction or redistribution requires our prior written consent.

09Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Verain’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or our services is limited to the commissions we received in connection with the policy at issue, except in the case of fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any insurance carrier, including claim denials, delays, or insolvency.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
11Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version number and “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
